Kaffetal it’s a family dream born in the heart of Colombia’s Piedemonte Llanero, where the eastern Andes meet the plains.
We started Kaffetal with one goal: to shine a spotlight on this overlooked region. Unlike Colombia’s most famous coffee regions, the Piedemonte has remained in the background — full of potential, but little known to the world. Not only produces a great coffee, but has a community full of strength, resilience, and pride.
Today, we work hand in hand with coffee-growing families, helping them reach new markets through better processes, technology, and shared passion.
1988 Café, our signature product, is a tribute to where we come from — a symbol of tradition, innovation, and the passion we pour into every bag.
Our Coffee
Grown in the eastern slopes of the Andes, between 1,000 and 1,800 meters above sea level, our beans are Single Origin — 100% Arabica, hand-picked and sun-dried by local farmers who’ve known this land for generations.
Every cup tells a story of fertile soils, tropical rains, and the quiet strength of Colombian hands.
You’ll experience a sweet cocoa and citrus fragrance, complemented by aromas of panela and cocoa. The aftertaste is clean and lingering, with a delicate note of panela that stays with you after every sip.
This is coffee that honors its origin — crafted with care, made to be remembered.
