I was very happy with my first purchase of 1988 Colombian Medium Roast. It is definitely a medium roast and has some really wonderful tasting notes. A subtle sweetness that is not overwhelming, citrus, a tartness that is not sour by any means. It it easy to have several cups trying to figure out what you are tasting. I’m very happy with the packaging, freshness, quality of the beans and roasting mechanics. It’s all come together in a very nice cup.
As a Colombian I always enjoy a good cup of coffee. Pure origins are my favorite and so hard to find. I’m so glad I found this amazing family owned coffee.
This is a lovely 1 lb bag of coffee, I ordered the whole bean variant. This is a medium roast coffee, though it is a light medium roast. The coffee has an interesting aroma, it has a mild smell, I noticed a cocoa sent mixed in. The coffee is a very smooth coffee, with a taste I really enjoy. This is a single source coffee, which is a plus, it arrived quite fresh.
